Microlearning White Board Animation for Complaint Management Process
The Challenge:
Boston Scientific’s Endoscopy Division wanted a fast-paced, animated video for its staff on the complaint reporting and handling requirements of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as well as the related components of BSC’s own Quality Management System. Not only that, Boston Scientific looked to make this information available very quickly.
The Solution:
Illumina produced a seven-minute whiteboard animation, folding in Boston Scientific’s specific complaint reporting and monitoring system forms and processes, to meet the need. The fast-paced animated drawing style helps sustain learner engagement. Illumina completed the entire project, including animation design, graphic production, audio incorporation, and review/revisions, in under three weeks. This is an example of effective micro-learning, in this case accomplished through micro-development.
