The need to provide such field training quickly and cost effectively has pushed the company to use e-learning modules to accomplish this task.

The Solution:

For Alere, Illumina has developed a set of modules for training their field sales force. The modules cover areas such as underlying medical conditions being treated, market segments for their products, and questions to use with prospective customers. The modules also prepare the sales team for additional tools they can use in their customer interactions.
