Working as a subcontractor to its partner American Institutes for Research (AIR), Illumina provided a set of six modules to the US Department of Education’s Office of Safe and Healthy Students.  The modules help teachers, administrators, and staff enhance students’ feelings of physical safety and belonging, to improve their performance in school.  The modules include subject matter content, and give learners opportunities to apply what they learn in a fairly extensive branching scenario at a fictitious school.   Illumina implemented the Section 508 compliance, to permit access by a wide range of learners, and AIR’s team verified the Section 508 compliance.
