PTSD Coaching Online
The Challenge:
The US Department of Veterans Affairs asked Education Development Center to develop an accessible online version of their print and CD-ROM based coaching tools to help veterans experiencing PTSD acquire and develop skills to help with their post-service transition, and focused on areas of skill development, such as problem-solving.
The Solution:
EDC and Illumina adapted the materials and produced a series of engaging, interactive modules (www.ptsd.va.gov/apps/ptsdcoachonline) that include videos as well as online tools that veterans and “or anyone who needs help with upsetting feelings. Trauma survivors, their families, or anyone coping with stress can benefit.”
