Illumina Interactive has been working with Vibrant Emotional Health since 2019 to develop and launch the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline – an online learning platform with over 30 hours of training, practice activities and simulations, and an extensive resource library – all in English and Spanish. The platform and online courses are being used to train roughly 20,000 crisis counselors at 988 suicide and disaster crisis hotline centers across the United States. Over the past few months, we’ve helped launch courses on Substance Use and Suicide Risk, Responding to Thoughts of Violence, and Cultural Responsiveness in Crisis Counseling. Recently we’ve embarked on courses on Mental Health and Suicide Risk and Counselor Wellness and Wellbeing.
