Illumina Interactive and its partner Education Development Center (EDC) received a Gold eHealthcare Leadership Award in the category of Best Healthcare Content for an e-learning course titled “Prevention SustainAbilities: Planning for Success”. The course was developed for SAMHSA’s Center for the Application of Prevention Technology. This interactive, self-paced course offers substance abuse prevention practitioners step-by-step guidance for developing a written plan for sustaining successful prevention practices. Modules contain practical information, interactive exercises, and related tools designed to help participants directly apply course content to their prevention work. “Digital marketing and communications in healthcare organizations continue to evolve rapidly and we were thrilled to recognize the best of the best in the industry,” says Matt Humphrey, president of Plain-English Health Care, and producer of the eHealthcare Leadership Awards. “We see winning organizations focusing on improving the patient or consumer experience in everything they do.” For more information about the Prevention SustainAbilities course, visit EDC’s website.
