In collaboration with its partner Education Development Center, Illumina develops courseware and accompanying tools for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to train physicians in the state on new fourth-generation HIV testing approaches. The new testing makes earlier HIV detection possible, and Illumina’s contribution includes a new course linked with a back-end database to allow physicians to compare the different testing techniques.
