World Health Organization:
A Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Online Learning Community
The Challenge:
The World Health Organization wanted to create a multi-dimensional learning resource, providing courses, and also a number of related learning tools, all as part of a unified learning portal. The portal would allow for coverage of a number of different topics, starting with Community-Based Rehabilitation, and particularly empowerment of those with and without disabilities to help the situation.
The Solution:
With its partner Education Development Center, Illumina created the INCLUDE learning portal. The portal allows the learner to choose from among many topics. For a chosen topic, the learner can choose courses, which include both textual and video presentation. In addition to the courses, there are tools to allow the learner to record key points and their reflections, and also to create personal action plans which they can preserve for themselves or share with others for comment.
What our clients say about us
“They are quick to understand and adapt as the specs have evolved over time. Being flexible and responsive is a huge benefit. Because a lot of clients don’t know what they need at the outset, the Illumina team is good at co-creating that solution and making informative recommendations.”
