JASON KRAMER
Director of eLearning Development
Jason has been designing and developing learning experiences for close to 20 years. His specialty is e-learning where he continuously pushes the design possibilities of the medium. At Illumina Interactive, he has created a large and varied range of e-learning modules for many of Illumina’s most important corporate, academic and government clients. Prior to joining Illumina, he worked on a number of initiatives as a Senior Instructional Designer with Citizens Bank, including compliance, systems and application training, and onboarding eLearning courses, two of which are now used for every new Citizens Bank employee. Before that, he was part of the award winning instructional design team at New England College of Business where he designed and developed outcomes-based academic eLearning, including a gamified course for Human Resource Management that won a Bronze Award for Best Use of Games and Simulations for Learning from Brandon Hall. Jason has utilized a wide variety of technological tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g. Photoshop and Audition, etc.), Camtasia, Audacity, Smartsheet, course authoring tools (Articulate Storyline and Captivate), LMS (Desire2Learning, Moodle, Canvas), and SCORM. Jason holds an MA in philosophy from the University of Memphis, where he also served as an adjunct-faculty member, executing the online build-out of the core undergraduate philosophy curriculum. Jason is an early adopter of new technology, an eternal music student, and a bibliophile.
