After a leave of almost eight years, Elizabeth Galbraith is back with the team at Illumina Interactive where she is applying her strong instructional and creative design know-how and helping to develop some of the team’s most engaging eLearning courseware development projects.

Before rejoining the team at Illumina, Elizabeth was an Instructional Technologist at Fidelity Investments, where she applied her skills and expertise in Articulate 360, HTML5, user interface design, and Adobe Creative Suite to create engaging and effective e-learning solutions for various business units and clients. She worked in this role for over six years, and contributed to the development and delivery of multiple online courses, interactive modules, simulations, and assessments that supported the learning objectives and outcomes of Fidelity’s diverse and global workforce.

While initially at Illumina during the 2013-2016 timeframe, she was the lead developer on Articulate Storyline courses for clients across many market segments, including ESPN, Microsoft, Avanade, and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. She had extensive experience in Flash animation, web development, video and audio editing and postproduction, and was involved in efforts to convert client projects to HTML5.

Elizabeth’s passion is to use technology and creativity to design and develop e-learning solutions that are innovative, interactive, and impactful.

And while she’s not “doing eLearning” – Elizabeth and her husband, Robert Galbraith are the RI-based experimental music, Snowbeasts, creating haunting synth-experimental electronics, blending ominous cinematic ambience and darkly moving harmonies with intermittent but powerful modular squelches and lumbering beats.
