SOLIDWORKS, a leading 3D CAD modeling solutions company, wanted a set of online offerings for the Technical Support Personnel among their Value Added Resellers (VARs). The courses were to increase the VARs knowledge of the company, its users and solutions, and resources and processes for Technical Support.
Illumina worked with SOLIDWORKS to produce a set of modules for VAR’s Technical Support employees. The modules were divided by topic, ranging from SOLIDWORKS product and solution set, to the company’s Technical Support processes and how to engage, to Communications Skills for Technical Support. Because of its worldwide presence and VAR base, SOLIDWORKS and Illumina localized the modules into a number of different languages.
